A ribbon cutting ceremony was held for a memorial which honors the nine Rhode Island Marines who lost their lives during the Marine Barracks bombing in Beirut, Lebanon on October 23, 1983. Tower Construction’s work consisted of demolition of existing site, resetting of existing pedestrian light fixtures, site preparation, paving of the memorial pathway, a lit granite and etched glass monument and lit informational panels.
